CBS was again #1 on Fridays, but its lead was not as pronounced as in the past. Nevertheless, MacGyver (1.1) was steady with last week and seems to have stopped its slide and showing it's a strong performer. Hawaii Five-0 (1.1) inched down but was actually still up a tenth from last year while Blue Bloods (1.1) had an unexpected two-tenth drop, it's still a solid performance and easily topped its hour.

ABC came in a close second with Last Man Standing (1.1) staying steady and tying for the top of its hour but some discouraging news came as Dr. Ken (0.8) inched down and tied its series low. Dr. Ken isn't doing great this season so it may be on its way out and this performance justifies that. Meanwhile, Shark Tank (1.2) inched down but was still the highest-rated program of the night while 20/20 (0.9) inched up.

FOX had Hell's Kitchen (1.0) continue to be a solid performer followed by a surprise uptick by The Exorcist (0.8). Considering how it beat out or tied showings of Scream Queens, Pitch, and Rosewood it might not be in as bad shape as it seemed to be in week 2.

NBC had a much welcome uptick for Caught on Camera (0.7) which was actually even with last year's Undateable while Dateline NBC (1.0) was steady.

The CW had the premieres of The Vampire Diaries (0.4) which had a solid outing followed by Crazy-Ex Girlfriend (0.2) which continued to be a poor performer, but at least these numbers look somewhat excusable on a Friday instead of a Monday.
