FOX continued to drop its regular low-rated programming for the World Series (4.7) which was more than 4x larger then anything else that put its hat in the ring.

CBS came in second with its scripted lineup as MacGyver (1.0) slipped to a new low but it's excusable as it faced the World Series. Hawaii Five-0 (1.0) also sunk to a season low down two tenths from last week, but Blue Bloods (1.1) remained resilient and tied last week's result.

ABC took the #3 slot as they preempted the comedies in favor of It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1.0), it was about in line with Last Man Standing's performance and easily beat out any result from Dr. Ken this season all against The World Series, so at least it took the blow for the comedies which most likely would have been lower. Charlie Brown was followed by Shark Tank (1.1) which tied its season low but looked better as it faced the World Series. A low result from 20/20 (0.7) rounded out the night.

NBC's lineup still could not compete as Caught on Camera (0.6) slipped back to its low and Dateline NBC (0.9) inched down.

The CW shows, The Vampire Diaries (0.4) and Crazy-Ex Girlfriend (0.2) were even with their premieres pending adjustments.
