ABC had a very typical Sunday night, with Once Upon a Time (1.5), Blood & Oil (0.8), Quantico (1.3), and America's Funniest Home Videos (1.0) all remaining pretty much steady.

CBS had somewhat of an atypical night, but also one that was expected with a massive football lead-in (6.5 for the 7pm half-hour). That helped inflate 60 Minutes (3.8/2.3) and Madam Secretary's first half-hour (1.5/1.2), but the magic was gone by the time it got to The Good Wife (1.1/1.0) and CSI: Cyber, which had a 0.8 for its first half-hour. It is unknown what its second half-hour did, as it aired outside of primetime.

FOX also had a football afternoon game, which explains why a 7pm rerun of The Simpsons (1.8) did better than all the rest of their programs. On the bright side, it helped bring up Bob's Burgers (1.4) which is looking increasingly reliant on having an animated lead-in. The actual Simpsons episode (1.5) lost to its rerun self, but still beat the rest of the lineup as Brooklyn 9-9 (1.2), Family Guy (1.1), and The Last Man On Earth (1.0) all stalled. Family Guy may be coming to the end of its run in the near future, while Brooklyn 9-9 should easily snatch up another season for syndication (and FOX's absolute love for the show).

Surprise! NBC won the night with football--the little show that could. Or maybe not--combining the half-hours together, which is only moderately accurate, would give it a 7.6 rating, which is slightly above the next-highest rated program of the night.
