FOX announced is midseason schedule this week, and it had a lot of changes. Sleepy Hollow is slated to move to Friday which further confirms its cancellation. Shows that move to lesser-viewed Friday almost always drop, and Sleepy Hollow is already too low. What is worrying to me is all the long hiatuses. Empire is of course safe, but a long hiatus combined with airing in the lower viewed spring months could make it lose some more ratings heat. Rosewood returns a couple weeks ahead of Empire because of a longer episode order, and it'll look considerably weaker without a pre-Empire boost. Second Chance looks like it has no chance. (When I first saw it on the schedule, I actually didn't know it was Lookinglass, so I just assumed it was a generic FOX reality show). The Tuesday comedy block is going to end up sub-1.0, and it is definitely a major downgrade for Brooklyn Nine-nine. Remember those numbers when it aired on Tuesday in the spring of its first season? Cooper Barrett getting the best leadin FOX has shows confidence, but it doesn't look compatible with the Simpsons. Bones is again put on the shelf, and The Last Man on Earth isn't looking good either. LMOE either has an extended hiatus while airing late spring or FOX tries to cram in its episode order before January, and neither is good for the show.

Rosewood has shown enough stability that it looks like FOX would renew it. It's FOX's number one new show, and it's above most of the pack.
